tomorrow is opening night for autumn garden although i think i'm going to be at the itsy bitsy bullocks show at transformer. i want to meet mr. eggs (www.mreggs.com)
i wish i knew how to make links. i also wish i could make stuff like this
knitting with a pattern totally freaks me out because i'm dumb and can't follow directions.
i might attempt that one sans cable 'tho

i am so looking forward to not working from 9 am 'til 11 pm.
and working on my garden.

i might be revealing too much about myself with the baby giving me the finger.
but what can i say. i've been feeling incredibly bad lately aboutum.....pretty much everything. i do like this giraffe 'tho. i did have a great dream where i made a 24 foot painting of a giraffe.

I have a blue toy elephant sitting on my desk. A remnant from the fisher price circus set when i was little.
so i drew a closeup of his head and scanned it in and colored it in with photoshop.
the stripes on the side are the pages of the sketch book from which it was scanned

I don't like this mermaid. I wanted to do a cute little seonna hong-type of illustration, but she's amazing and i am...well....what's less than not?
so against my better judgement, i'm posting it here anyway. tomorrow is friday anyway and with it is a new idea.
the original was done with water color crayons on just sketchbook paper so it's kinda warbely....i need to get watercolor paper i think...
my boss is also out this afternoon, so i'm using the time to see what "filters" do in photoshop.
i actually like those better so i'll include them too....

This is great, because i finally found a purpose for this image in my head of a little boy sticking his tongue out. I'm using this as a study for a painting i'm working on.
